In light of the recent integration of 3D capabilities in the iPhone lineup, there is a burgeoning opportunity to leverage this technology for capturing authentic 3D imagery. The purpose of 3D ModelME is precisely centered around this goal.

Through the 3D ModelME app, users can convert the portraits captured on iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 8 Plus, iPhone X, iPhone 11, and iPhone 12 into tangible 3D models suitable for immediate replication with modern 3D printers.

Utilizing the depth data stored within specific image types on iPhones, 3D ModelME transmutes these images into 3D models. The resulting file is formatted as an STL type, compatible with leading brands of 3D printing software. The standard version of 3D ModelME facilitates the selection of photos from your library or real-time portrait captures to preview the corresponding 3D model. Users can interact with and inspect the resultant model from various perspectives, adjusting settings to tailor the creation process.

Prior to finalizing your model, upgrading to 3D ModelMEPro enables users to export the image (via email) for use beyond the confines of the app. It is important to note that not all images taken with iPhones contain depth data.
